Education and Experience

I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas, 1997.  My career in mental health began at Seton Shoal Creek Hospital where I worked with adults, adolescents, children, and families in crisis. In 2001, I transitioned to private practice working with all ages. Currently, I offer group and individual psychotherapy for adults, relationship therapy for couples and LCSW supervision.  My credentials are Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved LCSW  Supervisor.  I have a certificate in EcoPsychology from Pacifica Institute.

I am Past President of the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society and a member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, and the National Association of Social Workers.  I have presented workshops on depression groups and creativity, and therapists’ use of self locally and nationally.

I incorporate Ecotherapy and creativity into my work with clients.
