Education and Experience
I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas, 1997. My career in mental health began at Seton Shoal Creek Hospital where I worked with adults, adolescents, children, and families in crisis. In 2001, I transitioned to private practice working with all ages. Currently, I offer group and individual psychotherapy for adults, relationship therapy for couples and LCSW supervision. My credentials are Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Group Psychotherapist, and Board Approved LCSW Supervisor.
I am Past President of the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society. I am also a member of the American Group Association, the National Association of Social Workers and Austin IN Connection. I have presented workshops on depression groups and creativity for Austin Group Psychotherapy Society’s 2014 Spring Workshop and at the 2014 and 2015 American Group Psychotherapy Association National Conferences. At the 2016 American Group Psychotherapy Association National Conference I co-presented a workshop on the group therapist’s use of self.
I enjoy incorporating creativity and nature into my work.
My office is located in the Mueller development just off I35 in North Central Austin.
